Couse Description: U.S. History 

This course will be taught to Juniors and has an End of Instruction Exam (EOI) with it. The class covers the history of the United States from 1878 to the present, covering both domestic and foriegn policy, as well as the poltiical and cultral history of the nation. To help aid students in preparing for the EOI, there six "storylines" that we will cover, they are as follows: 

Storyline #1: Post Reconstruction to the Progessive Era: (1878-1900) 

Storyline #2: Expanding role of the U.S. in International Affiars (1890-1920)

Storyline #3: Cycles of Economic Boom and Bust in the 1920's and 1930's

Storyline #4: Role of the U.S. n International Affairs and World War II (1933-1946) 

Storyline #5: U.S. Foriegn and Domestic Policy during the Cold War, (1945-1975) 

Storyline #6: U.S. Foriegn and Domestic Policy, (1976-Present)
