Course Descrption, U.S. Government: 

This course will be taught to sophomores. The puropse of the class is for your child to develop a working knowledge of our nation's government at the federal, state and local levels. The fact that our nation is a Democracy means that citizens have certain rights and responsibilities. As your child gets closer to adulthood, the concepts and curricilum of this class will turn into real life situations that will affect them in thier daily lives. Thus, the goal is to prepare them to become well informed citizens who particpiate in our government.
