I graduated from Wagoner High School in 2005.
I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2009.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.
In the fall of 2009 I student taught here at Fargo Elementary under the two most wonderful teachers I have ever had the privilege of watching teach. Mrs. Debbie Orcutt, and Mrs. Teresa Phillips (then Eggleston). Everything I know about Education/Teaching/Making a difference in the lives of each student who steps foot in my classroom I contribute to these two ladies and I make sure and tell them often thank you, thank you, thank you!
After Student Teaching I taught a semester here in the PreK room for Mrs. Hill while she had to be away. It was exactly what I thought teaching would be. Hard! Very Challenging! Most importantly Rewarding!!!
In 2010 I moved home and taught at Muskogee County Head Start for 2 years. I started out just teaching and then I was offered to be the Director of a Head Start housed in Wainwright Ok. Its a town smaller than Fargo but reminded me of what I had left here and that I wanted to come back. So in 2012 when a job came open here in PreK I jumped at the chance to once again be a Fargo Bearcat and have not once been sorry about my decision.
I have a little sister who has a wonderful husband and two precious boys who call me Aunt Giffer. Two little brothers, one with a beautiful little girl with the biggest blue eyes you’ll ever see, and my wonderful, amazing, hardworking momma! Oh, and my lucky hubby who loves me oodles and gobs, bunches and bunches. My family and friends a very important to me and I love them very much.
When I’m not in school I enjoy...
